Warner to Host BOWL GAMES
This Saturday November 3rd, Coastal Pop Warner and Wilmington will play host to the PORT CITY CLASSIC BOWL. The games will be played at Ogden Park starting at 9:00 am. Pop Warner football and cheer teams from across the state will be traveling from as far as Western NC and Virginia to compete and try to win their division.
These are not playoff games, but a chance for teams to play extra games, as they get ready for the playoffs in their respective divisions. At last count, 14 games are scheduled on 3 fields throughout the day.
There will be plenty of local teams competing for all of us to cheer for. So if you’re looking for something to do on Saturday, consider a day of football, cheerleading and of course, a great concession stand food. Definitely don’t miss the 5:00 pm game between the COASTAL RED RAIDERS Of Wilmington and the OAK RIDGE COLTS of Winston Salem.
