1. High School Football Playoffs Friday Night:
Ashley and Laney are on the road, but you can stay in town and see New Hanover play at newly crowned Jurgensen-Gabriel Field as they host Smithfield, or head over to Viking Stadium to see Hoggard which hosts Hoke County. If you live in Wilmington and haven’t been to a high school football game in a while, go soak up the atmosphere and support our local student athletes. You won’t regret it.
2. Saturday night, the UNCW Seahawks Men’s Basketball team takes to the hard wood for the first time this season as they host the College of Charleston at Trask Coliseum. Tip off is set for 7:00pm. Let’s Go Seahawks!
3. The Willie Stargel golf fundraiser swings into action this weekend at Landfall. The third annual Willie Stargell Celebrity Golf Tournament will be held November 12, 13, and 14.
