The championship of the 7th annual Ashley High School’s Veterans Cups Duals was decided when Brian Dillman won a 7-5 decision over Dixon’s C. Frye to lead West Brunswick to a 36-33 victory in the final match of the evening.  West Brunswick finished the day with a 5-0 record.  Defending team champion Richlands HS took second place with a record of 4-1.  Host Ashley HS finished in 4th place, their best finish in the 7-year history of the Veterans Cup, a tournament they have hosted since the school opened in 2001.  South Brunswick’s Sammy Roundtree was awarded the tournament’s Most Vaulable Wrestler award for pinning his five opponenets in a total time of 3:07 minutes.  Winning their 100th career high school wrestling matches in the tournament were Ashley’s 189 lb. H.L. Temoney and Richlands’ 130 lb. James Taylor and 160 lb.
