Cape Fear Community College posted a 101-96 double overtime win over Denmark Tech in the opening round of the Region X Tournament on Thursday night.

The Sea Devils are the hosts of the weekend tourney, and avoided getting bounced in their first game in dramatic fashion.

They will face Spartanburg Methodist College on Friday at 8:00 at the Schwartz Center for a shot at the semi-finals held on Saturday.
