The Wilmington Sea Dawgs defeated the Rockford Fury Saturday night 116-113.  With the win, the Sea Dawgs improved to 9-6, good enough for second place in the East Division and third best record in the Premier Basketball League.

Scoring of note for the Sea Dawgs was as follows: Byron Mouton with 23 points; Jason Pryor with 19 points; Devin Mooring with 16 points; Charles Ward with 16 points (11 rebounds); Alvin Jefferson with 14 points (11 rebounds); and Jermaine Williams with 11 points.

The Sea Dawgs next games will take place at the PBL Showcase event in Chicago on Monday (7:15 p.m. central time versus Jacksonville) and Tuesday (4:30 p.m. central time versus Dallas).  These games, while on the road, are against teams that are a combined 8-20 and could provide Wilmington the opportunity to gather a few more wins before returning home on March 14.
