Everybody’s an expert - here’s you chance to put in your two cents for free. While each athlete below should be commended for their excellence on the field, we wanted to know from our readers, who stands above the rest and is deserving of the being named Wilmington’s High School Athlete of the Year? You can vote online at capefearsportsreport.com.
UPDATE: In the most highly contested poll question ever at capefearsportsreport.com, Laney’s Shatara Jackson jumped out to a commanding lead early on, but Hoggard’s Ian Shankland has come on strong and as of 5/27, he is in first place by over fifty votes.
