Lance Berkman of the Houston Astros was been named the Sharp Presents the National League Player of the Month for May, while Josh Hamilton repeated in the American League.
The switch-hitting Berkman hit .471 (49-104), with 11 doubles, a triple, nine home runs, 22 RBI and 31 runs scored in May.
