The Men’s City Amateur Golf Tournament will take place at the Wilmington Municipal Golf Course on September 20 & 21, 2008.

1st day entries will be accepted is August 1st.  Entry Forms available at www.wilmingtonmuni.com 

ENTRY FEE:  $80 PER PLAYER (CARTS ARE NOT INCLUDED) 

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: GREEN FEES EACH DAY, LUNCH EACH DAY (FOR PLAYERS ONLY), PRIZES/AWARDS, AND A TEE GIFT. 

·        The field will be limited to the first 192 completed/paid applications. 

·        Flights:  there will be 3 flights.  Players will be pre-flighted prior to the first round according to their handicap.  Championship flight – 0 to 4 hdcp, 1st flight – 5 to 8 hdcp, 2nd flight – 9 to 12 hdcp.  After Saturday’s round each flight will be evenly divided into 2 sub-flights (a & b) based on high & low scores. 

·        Tees:  all 3 flights will play the blue tees on Saturday.  On Sunday, the championship and 1st flights will play the blue tees and the 2nd flight will play the white tees.   

·        Players under the age of 18 must have an established hdcp index of 5.0 or less.  No exceptions.  All other players must have a hdcp index of 11.0 or less. 

·        Residency in Wilmington is not required to enter this tournament.
