Second Half Spurt Lifts UNCW Lady Seahawks To Win Over Longwood

ELON, N.C. -UNC Wilmington used a 21-2 run midway through the second half to break open a tight contest and pull away from Longwood, 71-50, in the opening game of the ISES Cancer Awareness Tip-Off Friday at Alumni Gym on the campus of Elon University. It was the season opener for both schools.
