After Nick Novak made just 6 of 10 field goals, the Kansas City Chiefs dropped their veteran kicker and replaced him with rookie Connor Barth.  Since then, the Wilmington native has nailed all six of his field goals including a 2-for-2 effort Sunday in the Chiefs’ 20-13 win over the Oakland Raiders.

If you are looking for a kicker on your fantasy team, Barth may be a wise pick up.  

No Sports Illustrated or Madden jinx here… after appearing on the November cover of the Cape Fear Sports Report, Barth, who starred at Hoggard before a great career at UNC, has been perfect and has solidified his job as an NFL kicker.
