Hoggard Advances To Championship Of Brogden Holiday Tournament

Logan Cain scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Hoggard to a 60-55 win over previously unbeaten Douglas Freeman in the semifinals of the Leon Brogden Holiday Tournament in Wilmington on Monday night.  The Vikings (10-2) will take on Raleigh Millbrook in Tuesday’s Championship Game at 6:30 p.m. in Brogden Hall.

Wake Forest Too Much For Navy

Junior QB Riley Skinner was named the MVP of the inaugural EagleBank Bowl and Alphonso Smith, pictured, broke the ACC interceptions record as Wake beat Navy 29-19 in the EagleBank Bowl. Skinner completed 11-of-11 passes for 166 yards and a touchdown and rushed seven times for 29 yards.
