Seahawks Look To End Slide; UNCW Welcomes Georgia State To Trask Saturday

    WILMINGTON, N.C. – Two teams needing wins to jump start their seasons collide Saturday when Georgia State visits UNC Wilmington in the Colonial Athletic Association men’s basketball opener for both clubs at Trask Coliseum. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

Lady Bucs Top Pender In Girls Basketball Clash; Pender Boys Get Revenge, Beat Laney In Nightcap

The girls game Friday night at Michael Jordan Gymnasium featured two of the top programs in the area.  Pender was 30-2 last season and played for the 1A state final, while the Lady Bucs were sectional champs themselves.

Hoggard Basketball Teams Have Mixed Success With Panther Creek
