The 24th Annual PFWB Duals were a huge success, especially for the Laney Bucs who finished first. South Brunswick came in 2nd while Topsail rounded out the top three.
New Hanover’s JT Talbot collect the award for the most pins in the lest amount of time with 5 pins in 6:40. There were co-MOW’s; Terrance Zaleski of White Oak and Dillon Hoke of Laney split the honor.
Laney beat White Oak in their opening match 52 - 24 to virtually secure their 5th straight conference title. The Bucs match up with Jacksonville Wednesday night at Trask Middle School for Senior Night. If Laney beats Jacksonville on Wednesday night, they will make history becoming the first school in the history of the Mideastern Conference to win 5 straight titles, winning 30 straight matches in the process.
