You may want to the Cape Fear Academy boys Lacrosse team in your coverage of area teams. They played NHHS twice, Ashley twice, and Hoggard once, and Cape Fear Academy won every game. They didn’t play Laney, unfortunately. CFA’s team made the state playoffs for the first time in at least 10 years. Maybe you could check out the successes of that team along with the public high schools. Thanks.
