Devan Carroll Suspended For Season Before It Begins

What we know is that UNC Wilmington men’s soccer player Devan Carroll has been suspended from the team for the 2009-10 season which gets underway this week. That said, there are many questions surrounding the dismissal of the star striker who scored the game winner in the Seahawks’ last exhibition match.

UNCW Blisters Davidson in Women’s Soccer

Dolphins Waive Connor Barth

Wilmington local Connor Barth was among four players waived by the Dolphins on Saturday. Barth, a former Hoggard High and University of North Carolina standout, was competing with Dan Carpenter for the starting kicker’s job.
