Love the website and magazine - keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was watching ESPN and thinking about the posts I always promise and rarely deliver:
Let’s start a movment to eliminate television commericals in their current form! They ruin even the worst of ESPN’s consistent
A-Rod/Bonds/Kobe circles…For months it has been a constant aggrivation to try to find good OVERALL sports coverage on ESPN. I was ready to fire off as now with the Bonds thing, never will I get more than a ticker score of the Bobcats. BUT - in the spirit of how beautiful, crisp, and sunny it is this morning (11-16-07) - I will say that I enjoy Mike&MikeInTheMorning on that network. That is my thought.
And about Bonds - I am of the thought that in this case: the American public loves an “i’m sorry, i was wrong” moment, which Bonds never gave them (if he is in fact PROVEN guilty). But the American public will villify anyone who lies. Bonds appears to have lied and will pay for it with a forever media bashing-

I love your magazine, but was hoping I could see a copy of the 1/22 issue online still. Are they archived that far back anywhere?

To whom it may concern:
I saw your magazine and was excited to see that you include a variety of at athletics at all levels. Through various colleagues I’ve been following high school basketball (JV mostly) and have heard that the Hoggard JV Men’s basketball ended in either a perfect season (or maybe lost just 1 game). Thought if you needed a story filler that would be a good one.
Thanks for your circular…very informative.

Would certainly like to see more written on the Hoggard girls soccer team. They seem to be overlooked somehow, and they are the #1 seed in the upcoming state playoffs for the Mideastern 4A conference. Thanks

I would love to help out in anyway that can, I love sports and when i was in high school I got a chance to do some high school basketball games. Thank you for keeping us aware of what’s going on in sports around the area?

First pro-am cycling race in the area in many years is coming up on Friday, June 20 at 5:00 pm. Spectators are free. Participants: $20-$25. It’s like NASCAR on two wheels. Three races will be at the Historic Burgaw Train Station, during the NC Blueberry Festival.

Sorry, the web site is listed as capefearcyclists.com in message # 10 referring to the NC Blueberry Festival Criterium (Bicycle Race). It should be capefearcyclists.org. My apologies for the confusion.
Thanks all and what a great magazine. I have to fight my husband for it.
