Wachovia Bank, a Wells Fargo company, along with the North Carolina High School Athletic Association, announced the standings for winter sports in the Wachovia Conference Cup competitions for the 2009-10 academic year. With a couple of first place finishes this winter, Hoggard is leading the Mideastern Conference.

Leesville Road punched their ticked to the NCHSAA 4A Girls’ Soccer State Championship as they beat New Hanover Wednesday night 2-0.
Leesville came in ranked #1 in the state according to the latest EuroSportScoreboard.com poll, and they stayed unbeaten, improving to 23-0-3 on the season.
