If the Wilmington Sea Dawgs and Augusta Groove were baseball teams, you might have seen the Sea Dawg fans with brooms in the stands signifying a “sweep”.  After beating the Groove Thursday by a 111-97 margin at the Schwartz Center, Wilmington ran their record to 5-0 against the Augusta this season.

Augusta, GA- Between two countries, four airports, and three days of travel, the Wilmington Sea Dawgs finally played a basketball game on Sunday evening.  The road trip didn’t go close to script, but in the end they made it all worthwhile defeating the Groove 104-87.  The Dawgs are now 4-0 against Augusta this season.
